THE NEED

Currently, 1 in 3 women experience relationship violence, stalking, or sexual abuse in their lifetime.

In the aftermath, those seeking assistance often find themselves adrift in a sea of confusion and hurt.

SASS Go walks alongside survivors, their families, and the professionals who serve them, guiding them with the training and support that helps them confidently move from where they are to where they want to be.

"I can't say enough about the support, wisdom, and guidance I received from Brett and Shannon after my daughter Lauren was murdered while a student-athlete at the University of Utah."

IN THEIR OWN WORDS

Cadie H.

“After my husband of less than a year strangled and beat me, Brett & Shannon were instrumental in connecting me with resources to ensure I had proper legal counsel, medical treatment, and most of all, a place where I was heard and seen. The Banks will allow so many more women to get the help, resources, and community they need.”

“SASS Go was an angel to my family and me when we found ourselves in a seemingly dark and hopeless situation with no capacity to determine what was next.

They showed up with answers, compassion, and hope. The Banks will give the heart of SASS Go a physical location to provide this level of care to countless more women and their families.”

“After being kidnapped and sexually assaulted, I was lost in every way imaginable. My life was changed for the better and continues to be every day thanks to Brett and Shannon.

I am incredibly thankful for all they have done for me, giving me hope and resilience to never give up. I am excited to see all that The Banks will offer for other victims and the hope that it will bring forth for others who may also be lost.”

“Having lived through many years of abuse and multiple assaults, I was barely surviving and had given up hope of having a stable and healthy life for my daughter and me.

The help and support I received changed everything for my daughter and me. The Banks is a place I could have only dreamed of. I am so grateful that this place of healing is coming to life!”

“I endured abuse that kept me silent for a long time. I was strangled and raped by one of my abusers. I am no longer silent. I’m a survivor with a voice.

I am here, praise be to my Savior Jesus Christ. SASS Go helped me take back my power, my voice, and helped me feel safe. The Banks needs to exist for people like me.”

“After leaving an abusive relationship of 7 years, I didn’t know who I was. I quickly became depressed, angry, and suicidal.

When SASS Go found me I was able to breathe for the first time in what felt like years. I learned I am normal, what happened to me was not okay, and my story matters. The Banks is what my tribe and I have been silently praying for on our darkest nights.”
